The Charbrew website presented a fantastic challenge for the team at Shell Creative:- to develop a great-looking e-commerce website, which effectively conveys each flavour of tea, whilst maintaining the ‘homely’ nature of the brand.
We designed the Charbrew site to introduce as many customers to as many Charbrew tea flavours as possible by styling the homepage & associated pages in relation to each flavour. Therefore, each time you visit the site, you’re likely to be introduced to a different tea, be it the green leaves of ‘English Orchard’ or the juicy tropical fruits of the ‘Tropical Rooibos’!
An initial requirement was for the entire site to be content managed by the client, therefore we developed a simple, bespoke system to allow the company to edit every page on the site, add articles and edit other information as required.
We also designed, developed & implemented an online product and customer management system, integrating payment with Sagepay, the UK’s largest independent Internet Payment Service Provider, and allowing full online purchasing of the entire Charbrew product range.
To help identify emerging markets and online traffic, we integrated Google Analytics to make it as simple as possible to review search engine and visitors statistics.
